Since I despised paying an arm and a leg for routine maintanence, I've learned to fix and maintain my 2001 Toyota Camry and branched out to repairing my friends' and family's cars. Teaching myself through YouTube, old instruction manuals, and some lessons learned the hard way, I've successfully repaired numerous vehicles and routinely perform the scheduled maintainence on my and other vehicles.Â
I prefer working on older cars since there tends to be more room to maneuver in the engine bay and the computer systems are less advanced and integrated in maintenence procedures. Most of my work is doing oil changes and the occasional brake job, but I've repaired or replaced alternators, radiators, spark plugs, thermostats, headlamps, door handles, mirrors, wiper blades, wiper motors, wiper transmissions, catalytic converters, mufflers, speakers, audio receivers and more. If you would like me to work your car, feel free to reach out.
As a Christmas present to my little sister, I recorded this video which walks the viewer through the steps to complete an oil change on her car. The site also includes purchasing information for the oil and oil filter. Check it out by clicking on the Instagram icon or visiting https://www.instagram.com/phoebesoilchange.
